## The problem does not stay in one department. It reaches production

- **Export destinations**: Each product, origin and destination has its own conditions to check.
- **Ingredients and suppliers**: An alert at origin leaves you no alternative and no lead time.
- **Orders by market**: One batch faces different requirements and dates by destination.

## Your perimeter

- Products
- Destinations
- Certificates
- Orders

## From the sanitary alert to the order awaiting shipment

- Sanitary and export conditions are reviewed (Conditions vary by product, origin and destination)
- Orders at a hypothetical exporter (Hypothetical company · link to verify)

What to check:

- Official conditions for each destination
- Certificates, products and open orders

## African swine fever: a third of export certificates blocked in one day

On 28 November 2025 two wild boar tested positive near Barcelona, Spain's first case since 1994. The same day certificates to dozens of countries were blocked; some markets accepted regionalisation within days, others are still closed ten months later.

### From day 0 to where it hurt

- Day 0 · 28 Nov 2025: Two positive wild boar. Around 120 certificates to some 40 countries are blocked.
- Day 3 · 1 Dec: Mexico, Canada, Korea and Malaysia close. China accepts regionalisation: only Barcelona province.
- Day 6 · 4 Dec: The EU sets an infected zone of 91 municipalities. Freezers are reported close to full.
- Day 21 · 19 Dec: Japan, a €787m market in 2024, stays closed except for meat produced before 29 October.
- Month 10 · Sep 2026: Mexico at zero, Japan at a quarter. The outbreak stays open until 12 months without cases.
